Is the SEC out of the payoffs?

I think there is a much better chance that they get two teams in the playoff than none.
Nope. The SEC champion is Bama and they just beat the No. 1 ranked team in the country. Bama is a CFP lock.
FSU and UL with 150 total yards combined at half. 
I would hate to see FSU in the CFP.

Au contraire. I think Bama and GA are in the playoff. I think FSU is out even if they win tonight. No way they’re a top 4 team and the committee’s job is to pick the best playoff possible. So the four best teams.
I'll be shocked if they put Bama or GA in over TX. And completely floored if they did both. I think FSU is the odd one out, regardless of the outcome of the LOU/FSU game. It's Michigan, Washington, Texas, Alabama.
So what makes Georgia one of the four best? The SEC was not the best conference this year and they didn’t even win that conference. This year’s SEC isn’t the SEC of the past. So other than opinion, what makes them one of the four best?

I would be ok with those 4 and seeded in that order. Michigan would be out in the first game…..again. TX-UW would be entertaining
Wire to wire #1 that lost by 3 to Bama. They are very clearly one of the top 4 teams. UT lost to a bad OU team. That also counts. The Big 12 sucked this year. They have a week 2 win over a QB-less Bama team. That’s it.
Texas is a conference champ...1 loss...and they beat Bama.
Bama lost to UT who lost to that Ou team, so that makes Bama’s loss worse. And GA lost to that Bama team…also the Bama team that basically lost to Auburn last week.
Timing matters. Bama is night and day better from week 2. And the Big 12 won’t go to bat for UT, which is key. People forget that. UT made an enemy there and I doubt that conference commish will really care.
Did you watch Bama just last week? They aren’t night and day better, the SEC is night and day worse than they’ve been in the past.

First of all, I don't hate Michigan, Washington, Texas, Alabama because that means Michigan has to play two really good teams to win the title, and I don't want them to win. However, during the Florida State game last night the announcers continually talked about why FSU should get into the playoffs. They gave some stats like FSU had the most wins against ranked teams and the most wins against bowl eligible teams or something like that and they have "good wins" over LSU and Clemson. Last night the held a very potent Louisville offense to 6 points, which is even more impressive when you factor in the struggles that FSU had on offense. Yes, their 3rd string quarterback played but their 2nd stringer will be back for the bowl game.
In my opinion they deserve to get in. Saying that Alabama or Georgia or Texas is better is simply based on the eye test, which I think is unfair.

They’re OUT!!!! It’s has to be Washington - Michigan - Florida State - Texas
Otherwise games don’t mean anything.
One issue I have with keeping Alabama out is that this gives Michigan too easy a road. FSU “should” get in over Alabama but Michigan winning it all, I’m not sure I could live with that.
I just can’t imagine them leaving an SEC team out of the playoffs.

FSU D is legit, they had better be in or the committee is basically saying playing actual games don't really matter. UT should be the 4th team in, but I could see the committee go with Bama. No way in hell Georgia is in this thing.FSU and UL with 150 total yards combined .
I don't know how you can put Alabama in and not Texas, a one-loss conference champ who beat them.
FSU won most of their games with a QB who is out. With their 2nd string QB, they are maybe a 9-3 team. They should not get one of the 4 spots. Injuries matter. Hypothetically, who here would pick FSU to win a game against Bama or Texas?
Early projections I have seen, which are logical, are UM vs. FSU and Washington vs. TX.
If that is the case UM lucks out Bama would beat them and win the Title again this year.
