Is there a respectful way to let a woman (or man) that they are attractive?

I don’t mean pick up line or cat calls, but a non creepy compliment. I was at the post office yesterday and there was a very attractive Latino woman there. She wasn’t dressed slutty or even all dolled up for a night on the town. She had nice slacks and high heels to show off her legs, a simple sleeveless blouse, and long hair in a poney tail. Photo below is for reference, not the same woman.

I kept glancing over at her, not wanting to stare in an obvious manner. In reality, Im an introvert and wouldn’t ever just start a conversation with random strangers. It got me thinking that there should be some sort of way to tell someone that what they are doing to make themselves look good was working. Anyone ever come across a situation where you were able to compliment a man or woman in a way that didn’t come off as objectification.

“If I told you you had a great body, would you hold it against me?” I actually used that line one time many years ago when single. She cracked up and within 30 mins of talking she was sitting on my lap. No it was not at a strip club. Things ended very well. The best part is she still sits on my lap once and a while and we share a bed every night 38 years later.

At my gym you’ll see women with their sweatshirts tied around their waists so in effect they’re wearing skirts. This is sad on two counts: I can’t see their butts, and they’re advertising that they’re sick of men staring at their butts. Be discreet and use the mirrors wisely. It’s like staring at the sun, as Jerry Seinfeld says.

Years ago I was on an elevator with 2 other people. One was a beautiful woman who was talking to the other person about her recent painful divorce. When we reached my floor I turned and said "a man would have to be crazy to divorce you." She was thrilled and I walked away as the doors closed. Leaving on a high note a la George Costanza :ROFLMAO:

When the doors closed she said, “See, that’s why I’m divorced. They’re all creeps!”

Thought you were talking about your dog until you mentioned her age. :giggle:
