When did he transfer to Grand Valley State?

averaging 10 points and 5 asts...grabbing some boards...and what a few of us have said for three years- 0-5 from 3 pt range- the reason he went undrafted...

He is going to make it hard for them to cut him because of what he brings...and hopefully they will chance his shot getting better

I watched a couple of the games on NBA TV so here's my take.

He played much more under control and attempted to set up and run the offense. He actually did a pretty good job of finding the open man. However, to my surprise, he really struggled to get into the lane when he tried to drive and had an even harder time finishing. I expected some struggle finishing b/c the players would be better protecting the rim, but he really struggled to get around his man.

Defensively he seemed ok, didn't get burned off the dribble much. He looked to be solid, but never really shined or showed above average athleticism. He's on the right team to make the roster, especially if someone signs Lou Williams away from them.

And while we're here, Rhodes actually looked pretty good in several game. He hustled, rebounded well and showed good range with his fade away jumper. That's pretty much the only move he used most of the time like he did in college. I'm not saying he's going to make a roster but he certainly should have earned an invite to someone's camp.

ill just toss this out there...i checked the game stats for all the teams each day just to see who did what, and the one thing i noticed game after game was the poor 3pt shooting as well as the lack of total 3ptrs even taken.

take a look at his team. Pat Carroll was 3-5 for all the games, Luke Anderson was 3-6, and Thaddeus Young was 2-13. those three players are the only ones to even make a 3ptr for Philly the entire time. 8 shots were made from behind the arc the entire time. the team was 8-36.
so Jamont not making a 3ptr really isnt all that nuts. he only averaged one 3pt attempt per game...its not like he was sitting back there and slinging it at the hoop or anything.
and since the team averaged only 7 3pt shots per game, its pretty clear that the deep shot wasnt an important part of their offensive plan in Las Vegas.</p>
