His musicianship was unquestioned. What a musically inclined family he came from: Jerry Lee, Mickey Gilley, and Jimmy Swaggart. But Jerry Lee was a great musician. He could tear up that piano.

This is not how life works. Maybe the stress and pain made him better in the long run. We do not know the alternatives, only reality. I love JLL and just discovered him pretty recently!
