Rodgers is done. Their offensive line is sub par. So since he really can't escape like he could his entire career he can only throw quick passes. You have an outstanding receiver in Wilson , but they never let him run a deep cross or double move because Aaron will be smothered. Their defensive line is also not as good as thought.

The Jets OL is actually the 5th best in the league, per PFF. They aren’t the issue.

Rodgers is the problem. He was a great one, but is a 41 year old QB who is playing like he’s 41 years old, just like every other 41 year old QB in NFL history has done except for one. That, and his attitude still sucks. The way he threw Mike Williams under the bus a few weeks ago after a game ending arm punt of an INT that he threw against Buffalo was pathetic. And the way that their front office is caving to his demands against the team’s best interest with things like the Adams trade is even more pathetic.

Correct. He's no Tom Brady.

I said it is mostly on Rodgers. I don't know how they do their grading, but I watched every Jets game. I didn't know how you have the 5th best offensive line but don't score points. It could be their offense is to predictable and basic, but I have not seen them assert their will on defenses. There aren't any holes for the runners and Rodgers only throws quick slants.

Well for what it’s worth…..the last 5 games with the new OC, Breece Hall has averaged 5.9 yards per carry. First 5 games before the coaching overhaul, 3.0 yards per carry.

But, Rodgers has still been middling at best, and the Jets have scored even fewer points per game in the last 5 (with the improved running game) than they did in the first 5.

If you’re consistently getting almost 6 yards per carry for over a month, with a great defense, yet only going 1-4 and averaging less than 17 points per game….there is literally only one place you can point the finger.

The defense ain't great. The rushing defense is in the bottom of the league.

Once again I will say it is mostly Aaron.

The rushing defense is 12th in the NFL in YPC allowed. Definitely not bottom of the league.

9th in NFL in passing YPA allowed

11th in Pass efficiency defense

10th in points per game allowed

Its very much a good defense. Good enough to win a lot more games than they have so far, with the pieces they also have on offense.

I’ve watched those games, they should have went 3-2 except for kicker. He makes his kicks they win against Buffalo and New England.

Hard to know without knowing how the gamescript and events would have changed with made kicks. Especially the NE game, missed one kick and they lost by 3. Would they have won in OT with a made kick? Who TF knows.

But even at 3-2, they’d be just 5-5 overall and scrambling for a wild card spot….with an upper echelon D, a Top 5 OL, and a great receiver and RB group. There’s only 1 piece missing.

Don't know what you are trying to prove at this point.

No doubt about his attitude. I'm a life long Packers fan, and I got where I just couldn't pull for him while he was there. Had all the talent in the world, but just kept stuff stirred up all the time. I was so glad when he left, and the Pack went with Love.
