We MUST have Jolly Roger helmets for the bowl game.
I’ll take 2.University needs to sell black LEACH hoodies and give the proceeds to the American Heart Association.
Maybe Illinois will let us wear black since technically State is the road team in the bowl game.I’ll take 2.
Also, what about all blacks for the bowl game with leach STATE block letters across chest, and that’s it.
^^^^ this. I'm wearing my black short sleeve with STATE across the front now.I’ll take 2.

Could put it on the back of the helmet on the padding that wraps the helmet. With "CJK5H" on the nameplates on the back of the jerseys
This is a good idea if they can have it done on time. If they decide to move forward with the game being played all depending on how things goWe MUST have Jolly Roger helmets for the bowl game.
Hard to say with the team being in a position like that and what looks like losing their head coach tragically just weeks before the game.I think we definitely go play the game.
One of those deals where you give them the time the kids need to process and just ask them what they want to do.Hard to say with the team being in a position like that and what looks like losing their head coach tragically just weeks before the game.
I would imagine this is the reaction for most fans and players at the moment. All we can do is wrap the Leach family and the players in as much love and support as possible.Honestly the game is the last thing on my mind right now. Just thinking about coach and his family. Just how terrible this is.
It'll be emotional for sure, but I think the team will want to play and I think Mike Leach would want the team to play.Hard to say with the team being in a position like that and what looks like losing their head coach tragically just weeks before the game.
He was about toughness. He would want it played. He would want the game played
Didn't he play Georgia with fewer players than is what is required and we could have forfeited the game? Yeah, he would want it played. He was all about toughness. He was about toughness. He would want it played.
Exactly.Didn't he play Georgia with fewer players than is what is required and we could have forfeited the game? Yeah, he would want it played. He was all about toughness.
Leach would haunt them and their fat little girlfriends for ever if they didn't play the game. And he would remove every chair in the athletic department from the Great Beyond. It'll be emotional for sure, but I think the team will want to play and I think Mike Leach would want the team to play.
Use the one from the cowbell in Leach's hand in this video: BandwagonWe MUST have Jolly Roger helmets for the bowl game.
Skull and crossbonesi really need to ask a dumb question......what are the Jolly Roger helmets?
Didn't he play Georgia with fewer players than is what is required and we could have forfeited the game? Yeah, he would want it played. He was all about toughness.
What about all the SEC teams wearing something to honor him????I wonder if Texas Tech would wear a tribute decal in Texas Bowl?
Leach would definitely want us to play.This.
My father coached different high school sports for over 30 years. He, and every other coach I've ever known, would want the players to play the game. He would be very disappointed if the players didn't play.
In my opinion, it would be disrespectful/dishonorable to Coach Leach NOT to play the game.
If I were a player on our football team, I would be chomping at the bit to play this game.
