Put him on the Dak program. Put in a package for him, make him a fan favorite off the bench and build his confidence into an eventual and hopefully very soon starting role.

The issue is he can leave at any point without any penalty. Which this is why high school recruiting is such a crap shoot in the current setup of college sports.
We have to stop thinking like that - “of the future.” He will likely than not transfer out of here before the future gets here. All we know is who we have right now, and he’ll that’s not even certain anymore.

You better play him because in this day and age if he doesn't feel respected he's out for more money, or if he feels respected and starts then he will leave to the highest bidder the following season.

This is true. But people are clamoring for him.
Bama and OM will make strong offer$ next summer, if he's even half decent.
I am unsure. Honestly, I had to see the next post DS made to know that he was a QB. I'm hoping that we start putting a product on the field soon that warrants me knowing who is on the team and that they stay long enough to at least see them more than one year.

Shapen isn't the answer. If KT can't beat out Shapen at some point this season we're in for another 0-fer the SEC.
We just had our first real Lebby class after years of god awful Leach recruiting. Both our HS and portal classes were ranked solidly. Now name the elite players we've lost to the portal and how they've done since leaving. It's a big nothing burger.
They went to the same high school.....Taylor isn't the starter and not sure he's even #2 at this point. It's crazy to say he's going to play more than 4 games at this point. Our defense looked like a great defense in the spring game, but we know it's not, so are we suddenly going to say they're great too?
I expect Lebby to go 9-4 sometime by 2035 or 2040

He won’t beat out Shapen. I doubt he beats out the other guy for #2. But he very well may wind up having to play. And the jump from 3A football to the SEC says it probably won’t be pretty.

No you don't. Taylor isn't getting a shirt burned for some goal line package when KroHawk is a good runner too. Only way Taylor burns a shirt is to play a lot. Next year the QB battle will be incredible! Might be if Shapen gets hurt.
We don’t know what the schedule looks like next year. Other than UL-Monroe, Troy & Tennessee Tech at home & at Minnesota. And presumably at Mississippi. And really, even 1 of the OOC games may have to be dropped if SEC goes to a 9-game schedule.
It's 4 games unless Shapen is hurt bud. H has no chance to be the starter unless Shapen gets hurt and he's still got to beat out one of the top portal QBs this year. He's going to great when it's his time, but it's Shapens team.
It won't be TX & UGA and that's massive alone. Give me anybody else but those two. We won't have our whole damn home schedule in Sept either.

Do we want to win? If so KT plays. He is better that the other 2. Yep hw played 3-a highschool but played Starkville-West Point-Louisville the elite of big time Miss. football. He single handed beat Louisville -who had not lost in 3 years. KT is a Monster-His Brother is also hell on wheels. Play Him./
No he's not. You can ask everybody out there and they'll tell you Shapen is way ahead of the other two. Shapen was really good before he got hurt last year and that was before the offense got on the same page.
Yeah. That's ridiculous to think a true FR is going to be better than a proven good 5th (6th?) year senior and a 5* soph. He may or may not be the real deal, but he's not beating out Shapen. He might beat out the other guy for 2nd string, but that's 50-50 at best.
