LULZ! I didn't realize hard headedness was a category on coaching resumes.

ETA: I believe having faith in your system and ignoring criticism is a necessary aspect of being a successful head coach. You think Leach was open to constructive criticism? What about Mullen, who kept his country club employed and basically dared anyone to question him.
Trying to make Nic Fitzgerald a throwing QB in his Sr season was the beginning of the end for Sloe Joe Moorhead. Nic was not a throwing QB but Sloe Joe was determined to make him one to fit his offense.

Remember this quote,
"Just make sure everyone understands," Moorhead said, "this is my school, this is my team, this is my program, and I'm not interested in anybody's validation except for the guys in that locker room. And every single one of them you can ask who's the right man for the job, they're going to tell you it's me. I promise you that."

He added that you'll have to drag his "Yankee [butt]" out of Starkville."

Well, his "Yankee butt" was fired shortly afterwards even after winning his first 2 Egg Bowls and going to the Music City Bowl. It's because he was "Hard Headed" As for your belief that ignoring criticism is necessary, having faith, blah blah blah, its what got him fired because he couldn't admit he was wrong. As for him being successful, I'm "LULZ" about that. He's 20-38 (10-26 in conference where it counts) between here and Akron as a head coach. He really needs to open his mind up to some criticism and admit he can be wrong because not changing his ways and doing that is about to get him fired, again.

You still "LULZ" ??
