He’s taking some visits this fall. Let’s hope he sticks.
Hopefully, Franklin flew in on the chopper with bags ofUp to 270 yds rushing and 5 tds so far.
Good observation.I find it odd that teammates don’t seem to come celebrate with him after touchdowns.
Yea, Spell is a shy guy. Doesn't like to play in front of crowds. Likes to play in a nice quiet atmosphere. He also likes to play for a dog faced, humorless, arrogant coach. Of course, he is looking forward to living is a filthy, crime-infested sewer instead of an actual college campus. I'm sure with the generous pitt alumns he will be happy to get $27.35 a year in NIL money. Spell is a pitt lock.Seeing as Spell is from McKeesport, I guess it’s safe to assume that he’s a pitt lock.
that can't be goodI find it odd that teammates don’t seem to come celebrate with him after touchdowns.
Just an observation. He also didn’t seem to be looking to celebrate with them either. He did seem to know where the cameras were at though.that can't be good
I suspect he ends up somewhere in the $EC.Just an observation. He also didn’t seem to be looking to celebrate with them either. He did seem to know where the cameras were at though.
What’s his scouting report? Looks like a Ki Jana type of build, which is not what I was expecting. I figured he was a little speedy guy but that didn’t like it in those highlights.

His teammate’s response.that can't be good

Francis "Junior" Walter- When Sunbury and Northumberland schools "merged" to become Shikellamy, they went unbeaten for a while in the mid 1960's. Many of us were offered up as a sacrifice to the football god's on Friday Nights. All I can recall is about 6 ot 7 thousand fans roaring in anticipation when the ball was pitched to Junior (since that was an anticipated touchdown), and a cold chill running down my spine knowing I had to come up and try to turn the play in. Alas, he was 19 while most of us were 16. Still big strong and fast, he was a wrestler, sprinter (may have won states in both) and went on to Oklahoma State.
I have no idea. I'm sure he was on PSU "radar." I do remember hearing that he had a visit to Alabama. How and why he ended up at Oklahoma State I don't know. There may be others here from the Sunbury area who can fill in the story.Wow, that was quite a performance. Did he consider PSU?
I googled him. Looks like he went back to PA and taught at a high school and started a drivers Ed school. He was proud of being on those championship teams.I have no idea. I certainly don't mean to diminish his talents, but he was the Julian Fleming of his day (19 during his senior season) and that has to be a factor.
I can only relate that on one evening, as an opponent, he was a terror.
Guys like Spell aren’t intimidated by depth charts. At his skill level, he will play.PSU has certainly had success at RB recently. And having Saquon torching The League in Philly for $20m a year doesn’t hurt.
Singleton and Allen are poised for great years on a top-5 team. The biggest factor could be whether a new PSU star emerges during the 2026 season.
I hope not.Reminds me of Austin Scott.
