I don't know all that much about him other than he's been with Lance Liepold for ten years. Started when they won a Natty at Wisconsin Whitewater, then to Buffalo (MAC) and Kansas.

he seems to favor a fast-paced run/pass option with a single QB read.

From what I have read, he adapts well to his team’s strengths. Starting QB went down this year, he had to change it up with the next QB, did so, and still had a lot of success.

Thats wonderful :cautious:

1)how does he do without working with Liepold? Seems like a variable that might come into play now that he doesnt have his host's coattails to ride on/partner with .
2)what happened to loving Kansas so much that he doesn't need to leave??

other than that --- I'll believe--- when the results are better than...... MEH

Disappointed it wasn't Brennan Marion, but seems like a solid hire. Would take him over someone like Kingsbury.

Yeah

Curious how he relates to players? how he recruits? since he has no ties to any fertile recruiting grounds other than some big uglies from the midwest but hey maybe thats what PSU needs Trench help on the Oline

Does he know how to make boilo?
It’s a Horsefeather in Lawrence Kansas!

A horsefeather is traditionally rye whiskey[4] or blended whiskey, ginger beer, three dashes of Angostura bitters, and a little lemon juice.[5] A highball glass is filled 3/4 with ice.[6] The ingredients are then poured into the glass and stirred.[7] There are many variations such as substituting ginger beer with ginger ale,[8][9] adding cherries,[10] muddling the lemon,[11]replacing the lemon with lime,[12] or creating a frozen version.[13]

But with the last name of Kotelnicki, he may enjoy boilo!

I like the sound of this..........
Andy Kotelnicki reaches for a pink-and-black toy sitting on the desk in his office to make a point.

“You know what this is right here?” the Kansas offensive coordinator asks. “Are you a fan of ‘The Office,’ you watch ‘The Office’?”

The object he holds up is easily recognizable. And yes, Michael Scott kept one on his desk, too.

“It’s called the Hoberman sphere,” Kotelnicki says. “I use it to illustrate that football is super easy.”

He points to opposite ends of the collapsed, jagged star and the path between them and offers his analogy: “Get a football from here to here.” If you have big enough dudes, he says, you can go over it. If you have fast enough dudes, you can go around it. And then there’s the third option. Kotelnicki pinches the two ends and pulls them apart, revealing the expanded sphere with all its wide-open gaps and space.

This is how Kansas’ offense beats a defense. You use your skill set against what the defense gives you to exploit.
