Kudos to Ross Highfill….

After the base clearing triple by Auburn in the 9th, Nixon throws a nasty down and dirty slider inside to the Auburn hitter. Ross made an outstanding play to block it, saving a run tying score by Auburn. Early in our season Ross had some tough times handling balls like that. He may have saved the game with that stop.

For all the criticism of Auburn's announcers, the only complaint I had is that they kept saying that Ross Highfill had a gun for an arm and they didn't want to try him.

Talk about not even making a five-second look at the stats.

Talk about a bad use of stats.

That's a lot of ya'lls problem. You have no idea how to use statistics.

He does have a cannon. Pitchers have a lot to do with stolen bases.

Its not ONLY the pitchers fault, catchers have a good bit to do with that as well. Facts are he's improving, but he's been below average defensively so far this year and is currently probably average at best. BUT he's a freshman
