That’s one year. Let’s do see who is second and 3rd and 4th this year and how many?

what about last year and year before?
But Riley Kugel transferred out this year. Who is talking about last year?

All I said was I didn't like it because he had talent and all the transfers is not a good look for us. I don't get why those statements are so controversial.

I wonder what those teams have in common. Maybe a really good end to their respective season vs our collapse of a season?
Well I was going alphabetically and did get down to LSU, but I guess you could say everyone in the SEC had a better end to their season than us. I'd guess Kugel would have left anyway.

It seemed like you were implying the transfer were a Jan’s thing.

it’s not a common theme. Every school has it at some point and some schools have it a lot.

I know he was frustrating as hell, but I do hate this because 1. you could see the potential, so I had at least a little hope that he would play to that next year; and 2. it doesn't help the perception for our program if everyone jumps ship every single f'ing year, especially high profile players like him.
But he’s not high profile and it is happening everywhere.

Ever wonder why NIL info isn't made public? Because I'm pretty sure that we'd all be sick to find out how much a guy like this got from us to play mediocre to less than mediocre ball for a year
100%. I don't see how any average joe can give freely to NIL knowing things like that. Unless you are earmarking it for a single player and know EXACTLY what you are getting, it's just idiotic.

Paying players is a rich man's game, and their responsibility. But begging the masses for $100 to pay a guy like Kugel whatever, even if like 10K, is absurd. That said, what the masses CAN do, is buy tickets and go to games.

And even with THAT said, I'm betting actual NIL deals are less than advertised. But still silly.

I know he doesn't play for your team but this is silly. Kugel is and has been pretty high profile since he was a 4-star recruit everyone wanted. Auburn, Arizona, Kansas, UConn, Houston... He was a well known player at Florida because the potential is obvious. He may be a headcase but basketball people across the country know who he is.

AGAIN, of course transfers are happening everywhere. Of course it's going to happen. I'm just not going to celebrate like seemingly everyone else when we lose one of our most talented players, headcase or not. I hope he comes back and Jans somehow miraculously gets to him like he did Murph last year.

Place like Memphis would be a good landing spot for him. Defense was not his forte, at State, you either play it or you don't play.

Another bounce back (kids we signed and left or thought we were going to sign) that doesn't pan out. I'm also thinking of Pounders, Radar Jones and K. Rogers in football.

Basketball people do know who he is because he’s been around awhile. And they know enough about him to know his ceiling.

And I love the “he may be a head case remark”. Basketball people know that too.

So I'll mark you down as agreeing with me that he's high profile.

And you (and others) disagree that he could ever recover or evolve in his mental approach to the game like we saw with KeyShawn. Fair enough 🤷‍♂️
