I would’ve been in favor of going for it with Lloyd. He was feeling it at that point in the game. But, yeah, the smart thing is probably take the points and put the game out of reach.

We just had a PAT blocked from a similar distance. You don’t take the chance on a block and return there. Going for it was the right decision. However, I would have gone full house with Lloyd, CBS, and Bell to give the D more to think about.
Correct. Make them go 95 yds. If we kick and score, they could. have done like us earlier and possibly run the kick back, or they could hav blocked the kick for a cheap score. Even though they went the distance and scored a FG, I think going for it was the right thing. Kicking the FG still keeps it only a two score game.

Time to give another kid a shot. Rattler looks rattled all the time. Even clem benched ugachsadogga to try something different.

Didn’t mind going for it. They have to drive the length of the field, get the insides kick, and score again. I would have preferred the heavy set with Tonka getting it or leading the way.

What I did not like is the prevent defense we fell into, giving up quick chunks of yards. We had been getting decent pressure and hadn’t been hurt deep. Not sure why we get out of what was working. And yes, I understand we were just trying not to give up the quick score.

That said, I still think White is a good DC, and will grow into a very good DC. Still think Satterfield needs to be revisited.

First a field goal should have been kicked instead of going for it on 4th down, that would have put us up by 13, forcing TAM to score two TDs to win. Rattler cannot run, makes poor decisions, I'm not surprised OK benched him.
Loyd should have dove in bounds for the first down instead of running out of bounds.

I don’t like how we didn’t get reviewed for the first down anyway it was clear Lloyd got it on my screen.

I agree with you, but we did give up big chunks of yardage and a touchdown plus the inside kick! We came very close to losing.

You make that FG, then they have to have two TD’s to win. As we played it they only needed a TD and a FG. A little easier. Someone posted a odds chart and the two choices are basically the same odds. Luckily it worked out.

I didn’t really mind going for it, although I preferred kicking the FG, but they could have come up with something better than a play from the 1961 Green Bay Packers playbook. They were so bunched together it looked like Victory Formation.

thats true, but I still prefer going for it there. You get the first down, a great decision. You don't, message board material??;););)

That one is on the coaches thankfully our Defense stopped them.

In my opinion, it's hindsight to say, we should have kicked the field goal base on the way the game ended. I'm in total agreement that we should not have gone into a prevent defense giving up chunks of yards. We gave a struggling QB life with each possession.

Rattler is our QB and we are at #25 in the AP Poll. What in the world has our backup QB done to merit QB #1.
