i saw where Utah's collective got all 85 scholarship players a brand new 2024 Ram 1500 Bighorn trucks before this season... the trucks are leased y t y ... every season they are on the team the lease is paid that season and at the end of their 4 or 5 years if they are still there the school pays the trucks off...
i looked on line at the prices and they showed around $40,000 each... so if they lease 85 trucks over 4 years at say $10,000 per year that is $850,000 per year charged to the collective.... not that bad... while that is not going to help much at all in landing us a QB like Tennessee got most of our players are not going to make the NFL... we have what, maybe 5 or 6 on a good year and at least half of them will be late round draft picks , which will obv be good money but not life changing money...
so at the end of 4 years the player has a still practically new vehicle that they never would have been able to afford... so if we raise say $8 mill, the trucks, whom everyone receives one only takes up 10% of our NIL... then you use the remaining money on the middle to top shelf players from locally who already liked MSU but just didn't really have a financial incentive to come abord. just a late night early morning thought
