It looks like Joe Lee is only listed at 165lbs on the new PSU roster so I am not sure he is an option at 157lbs. I'd say it's Barraclaugh/Levi Haines or Matt Lee who is also listed at 157lbs.

It also looks like we are going to get a healthy dose of Baylor Shunk at 133lbs this year. With the rumor that RBY is going to limit his matches there are only two other guys listed at 133lbs and Baylor Shunk is the only one with any starting experience.
Good catches there, Karl! Spot on. And, as for RBY, I will be interested to see in how much he wrestles. Certainly don't expect to see him at every dual meet on the mat, that's for sure.

funny watching press conference. Coach Cael said his favorite thing to do is work with motivated student athlete wrestlers. Based on watching this press conference, it appears that one of his least favorite things to do is hold a press conference. Watching it if I did not know who he was I would not think that he is arguably best college wrestler ever, top wrestling coach in USA, and has built the top wrestling program (college team and NLWC) in the country. He did not look comfortable. I bet he is different in practices, with the wrestlers, and with recruits. He sure is wonderful for PSU and such a positive figure. He says it is good to not get too high or too low and it is a long season-from now until NCAAs which hopefully we win again.

I'd venture to say that's true for most coaches. There are a few that like to turn on the charm and win the press conference, but to the vast majority the PC is a necessary evil, they'd rather be anywhere else, preferably in their element with their team, whether it's the mat, football field, basketball court, etc.

Skunk and Levine are other 2 wrestlers listed at 133. For matches RBY does not wrestle, anyone know who is his backup and does PSU have someone in the pipeline for next season with RBY not being on team for 2023-2024? Thanks.

Braeden Davis is 125 coming in next year. Very solid recruit....maybe Howard goes 133. Cael Nasdeo is a nice recruit too, but not on the same level

I see roster is finally posted on PSU website. For those in the know, any surprises (not mentioned in press conference)? If Haines is redshirted, who will start at 149, 157? Thanks. So glad Cael had positive comments about AD Kraft. I think NIL is especially important in wrestling which is a very high profile sport but NOT all scholarships are full ones (only 9,9 for team) unlike football and basketball so you would think NIL could make up gap. I know with Success with Honor NIL several have chosen to direct money to wrestling.
I'm sending money to SwH for wrestling. We need to stay active in the NIL arena.
