Apparently some sort of sex scandal, similar to what happened with Bobby Petrino a few years back.

I guess we'll find out soon enough. But, his wife has a different take.

Hardin had a tiger in his tank by bringing a bronco with him to the plains. My god these guys and gals who honestly think they can pull it off. Narcissistic behavior is so rampant in today’s world.

0% chance he can top the classic Petrino neck brace photo. View attachment 181015

There has always been something about Harsin that I didn't care for, but I can't really point to anything specific. But regardless of the facts, IMHO a coach from outside of the south is not going to be accepted or successful in the SEC. It is a different culture down there. I suspect Kelly will be the next to learn that lesson. There may be an exception here or there, but not many.

Nick Sabin, that may be the list! Believe he is from Ohio

As pointed out, Sabin is from West Virginia and spent all of his coaching career "up north" except for a year or two stint at Houston, prior to his success at LSU.

Auburn fancies themselves "equal to Alabama." Auburn (and any other SEC school, for that matter) would hire a dyed-in-the-wool Northerner if he brought Saban-esque success. They'd sell their soul to the Devil for it. The Auburn - Alabama Family Feud reminds me of Pitt - Penn State. Just as Pitt will never be what Penn State is, Auburn will never be what Alabama is.
