GT was working on a deal with him, but I don't think anything was ever announced.I thought he just inked a deal?
He's not irreplaceable, but what an ungrateful punk.
Bite the hand that feeds you...... I had some respect for the kid. Not that he will ever know, nor will it ever affect him in any way, but I've lost any/all respect for him with this. Ingrate. That is hard to believe. To leave the school that gave you the opportunity to play in the big league. This is just a prime example of how these changes are affecting sports. How can you go to three different schools? Can’t the higher ups see this is ruining college sports! It is going to be a league of haves and have nots…and the have nots will probably just stop having teams down the road. There will no longer be any Cinderella teams.
Upgrade is an understatement. Sanders had 1,400 yards last year. Missed some time with injury this year though. If we get Sanders from Arkansas, wouldnt it be an upgrade? maybe there is smoke to that fire we are getting him and Anderson saw the writing on the wall. Who knows.
We can certainly use 2 in that position. If we get Sanders from Arkansas, wouldnt it be an upgrade? maybe there is smoke to that fire we are getting him and Anderson saw the writing on the wall. Who knows.

I sincerely hope that's what's happening here - for a couple of reasons. One, getting RS would be huge! Two, that would make Anderson's exit a *little* bit better...... But dangit man! If that's the case, screw that! Stay and compete. Stay and share the load. There will be plenty of carries for two backs. Share the load and reduce the wear and tear on your body, yet still have the exposure of playing in the SEC where you've already made your name at the current school. If we get Sanders from Arkansas, wouldnt it be an upgrade? maybe there is smoke to that fire we are getting him and Anderson saw the writing on the wall. I understand the sentiment but this may be his ONLY chance to ever receive a decent size paycheck from football. There is no guarantee he'll get drafted or latch on in the NFL. The system is broken. I struggle to blame the players. I get itHe's not irreplaceable, but what an ungrateful punk.
And at your first job…would you sit and watch the others work?I understand the sentiment but this may be his ONLY chance to ever receive a decent size paycheck from football. As I mentioned earlier this week, one free transfer would have severely hindered Mario and Juice from entering the portal AGAIN!.
I was grateful for my first job out of college. That said, I entered the transfer portal after two years to double my salary. I gave my company a chance to match. The said see ya. I would consider myself a hypocrite if I pointed fingers at these players.
Mario sat and watched the first few games because the coaches were blind to the fact that he was our best option. He also got his bell rung and we threw him right back in there. And at your first job…would you sit and watch the others work?
Yeah, I know, everyone has a sob story for these players. Whatever kind of NIL payday he’s getting cannot be life-changing money. He was not THAT good for us. This whole situation is just designed to prey on naïve kids who can’t see long-term.I understand the sentiment but this may be his ONLY chance to ever receive a decent size paycheck from football. Life changing to him may not be life changing to you. He could very easily be getting a couple hundred grand more than we are offering. I'm sure he considers this life changing and I would also as a college player.Yeah, I know, everyone has a sob story for these players. Anderson did a really god job. He was a starter. The future was bright next year for him regardless of new RBs. WTH is wrong with these young people.Upgrade is an understatement. Sanders had 1,400 yards last year. Missed some time with injury this year though.

Sorry…I was speaking of Juice sitting and watching his teammates…not Mario!Mario sat and watched the first few games because the coaches were blind to the fact that he was our best option. He also got his bell rung and we threw him right back in there.
I know he was a big play guy, but this puts it into perspective.
You are fooling yourself if you think Beamer forced him out. Nice attempt at a spin. You sound like a Clemson fan.I can only assume he was staring competition at the spot. I would highly doubt Beamer would force a productive player like that out. As good as Mario was for us in our situation, his NIL value can’t be that great.
Uhhhhhh, my post said “I would highly doubt Beamer would force” him out.You are fooling yourself if you think Beamer forced him out. Nice attempt at a spin. You sound like a Clemson fan.
My bad! That said, I am fairly certain competition didn't push him away. $$ pulled him away.Uhhhhhh, my post said “I would highly doubt Beamer would force” him out.
I can’t imagine his NIL value is THAT high. He was good but not that good.My bad! That said, I am fairly certain competition didn't push him away. $$ pulled him away.
Don't agree. I bet his value here was well under $100k. It's nothing for a big $$ school to pay him several hundred thousand even if he's not the featured back. He'll do well with an OL. No way he's leaving because he's scared of competition.I can’t imagine his NIL value is THAT high. He was good but not that good.
There’s no way he’s leaving for big NIL money.Don't agree. I bet his value here was well under $100k. It's nothing for a big $$ school to pay him several hundred thousand even if he's not the featured back. He'll do well with an OL. No way he's leaving because he's scared of competition.
Naive you are. Several hundred K is not big money to big dollar schools. Chump change. There’s no way he’s leaving for big NIL money.
Laughable.USC gave him the opportunity to play on the big stage of the SEC. I doubt many people in S.C. had heard of him before he transferred to us. He became an overnight sensation, the talk of the state. His opportunities after football were limitless. If he transfers many of those doors will be shut.
Naive you are. Several hundred K is not big money to big dollar schools. Chump change.
What is laughable is thinking Mario would receive several hundred K in NIL from any school. Listening to people like you will cause him to have to, as Kiffen once said, "pump gas for a living".Laughable.
Your post is laughable. Poor Mario leaving South Carolina. His life is over. Boo hoo. What is laughable is thinking Mario would receive several hundred K in NIL from any school. Listening to people like you will cause him to have to, as Kiffen once said, "pump gas for a living".
