As far as I can tell, there is only one player in the tournament this year. I'm not sure that is going to make for much drama.
It is only the biggest sports story of the past few years. But you're probably correct. Folks want to see more of Taylor Gooch's round today. As far as I can tell, there is only one player in the tournament this year. I'm not sure that is going to make for much drama.

Opinions vary, I suppose. I'd rather see the actual event than to follow whatever "story" ESPN happens to be selling at the time.It is only the biggest sports story of the past few years. But you're probably correct. Folks want to see more of Taylor Gooch's round today.

Anyone check out DJ's babe and the outfit she was almost wearing as he went to sign his scorecard....as Bob would say, Holy Sh*t! Somebody has to post a pic....Midnighter would be proud..You can't win it on Thursday, but you can lose it. It looks like DeChambeau may be on the verge of doing that.
Damn right. That should be the story. Holy hell. How do you worry about golf when that is waiting for you. Unless of course she says, if you win you get this. If you don’t. See ya.Anyone check out DJ's babe and the outfit she was almost wearing as he went to sign his scorecard....as Bob would say, Holy Sh*t! Somebody has to post a pic....Midnighter would be proud..
I especially like the green trim. Very traditional. Not bad!
Jack is my idol, but what Tiger is doing today...how can you not be rooting for him...
Overall hitting…whereas other guys might have better short games, or be better puttersQuestion for you golf experts. What does it mean when they say a golfer is a "terrific ball striker"? A simplistic view might say that best golfers are best ball strikers, but then it wouldn't seem like meaningful commentary. Does it mean who hits the ball the hardest, or who hits the ball more accurately, or who is most consistant? Does it apply to the overall hitting the ball as opposed to decision making?
I play lots of golf, watch lots of golf, and I never understood what that means.Question for you golf experts. What does it mean when they say a golfer is a "terrific ball striker"? This level of worship I’ve only seen with golf and more specifically Woods. He’s garbage.I have never been a fan of sports hero worship. In the team sports, it lessens the importance of team= not a good thing.
In individual sports like golf, I find it sycophantic and talks to the importance of affiliation in our lives.
Sickening.
Switched over to the Tivo just in time to see ol' Tiger at 5 over and knock it into the gallery. I did a fist pump in his honor!they are just salivating over tiger.
Man just nauseating.

Not an "expert", but ball striking would seem to mean consistent contact with the sweat spot of the club face, which would lead to more consistent ball flight from each shot.Question for you golf experts. Lot of jock sniffers on this board that never played sports at any level of consequenceSo people should be rooting for a guy that has driven impaired multiple times, almost killed himself, and is lucky not to have killed others??
Not to mention his other transgressions.
Surely seems that way sometimes.Lot of jock sniffers on this board that never played sports at any level of consequence
