BOOM!! So far he's flipped a UT commit (Bennett) and he's about to land a long time Clem lean (Franks). Beamer is relentless. JC told a story about him from his earlier days at USC. He was recruiting John Fulton. JC finds out at one of the all star games that Fulton is going to flip to Bama. Calls up Beamer to let him know. JC said Beamer was pissed and NEVER let up on Fulton until the day he signed his NLI. We're not going to win them all. But it's refreshing to know we have a guy that's going to chase guys down until the last minute. Never got that feeling at any point in time from Muschamp.
Muschump was too worried about promising guys they'd secure the bag in the "ligue."
LOL....ligue. So glad we don't have to hear that anymore. I do think that's why we see so many Muschamp guys make it in the NFL. They were there for one reason and one reason only. When you look at all the guys that ended up in the NFL, hard to imagine we were as bad as we were.

Now that we have unrestricted free agency, the signed LOI doesn't mean anything more than a verbal commitment. I'd rather get them committed than to have to try to flip them.
