they all seem to want Colorado in the playoffs. Rick N saying even if Buffs don't make B12 CCG, they should be candidate for at-large - with 3 losses.

Well, if the SEC keeps cannibalizing itself, they may get their wish. The XM guys were saying the SEC may only get 3 teams in now, and that was before this weekend’s games.

That program stunk. Smoke and mirrors? Sure. Fake it till you make it? Probably. Strong case for jimmies and joes, not Xs and Os? Looks like it. Poster child for what NIL, $$$, and the new look of what “college” football is? Absolutely.

Deion has improved the team but are they really all that good? 9-3 in a mediocre Big 12 isn’t that impressive. Lost to 5-6 Kansas. Lost to Kansas St, the only “good” Big 12 team they faced - didn’t play Iowa St, Arizona St or BYU. Their best conference win is vs Texas Tech.

They are basically similar to Indiana in that they’ve capitalized on a weak schedule except they also have losses to mediocre teams. They really don’t deserve to be in the CCG.

Hating on klatt is funny to me

Considered one of the most productive players to have ever played the quarterback position at Colorado, Klatt joined the program as a preferred walk-on in 2002 and set 44 school records as the Buffaloes' starter from 2003-05.

Correct. Colorado lost by 3 scores to a very average Nebraska
True, in gm 2 and they s**t the bed in the first half, second half was even. CU has the best player in the country and the best QB, the rest of the team is not on par with the better teams this season. Reality is though unless the get in the Big 12 championship and win it they aren't getting in.

Colorado was quite likely the worst team in CFB two years ago. You may not like Deion’s style, but he has done a great job at CU so far. Even this season, the team has improved significantly since the start of the year.

Absolutely, Admin at CU was woeful for yrs and didn't do anything to help the program, crazy that they didn't care about the importance and rewards of a good Football program.

Getting to play for Deion is a thing. Hunter was doing the old Deion Shuffle in the end zone yesterday.

Note to self: don’t get all worked up about this. It’s only “college” football.
I hate all the dancing s**t, but it's in every game, everywhere anymore.

can you imagine Mike Reid doing a sack dance?
Just to be clear, I’m not whining about the showboating exclusively. It’s the whole package I find to be wearying. I understand that bringing $ into the college game is something that, given our capitalist society, legally had to happen but that doesn’t mean I want to do backflips over it. And the academic side is never mentioned nowadays. That part really bothers me. There would be no place for Joe Paterno or John Thompson in today’s sports landscape. That’s a damn shame. Maybe Paterno could be HC at Brown or Columbia.

agree 100%

The decline of standards has been going on for a long time, and not just in sports.

I think Deion has done an admirable job. I would have more respect for him, though, if he hadn’t run off all the kids that were at Colorado already. It was a bad look. I don’t care how anyone rationalizes it. Those were kids that wanted to be at Colorado and he tossed them aside like trash, without working through the rebuilding process.

Well the media was completely wrong on the election why would you think they are suddenly right on football.

do love the sec narrative. Teams finally start playing each other in the regular season and start losing so the narrative kicks up, Imagine if they played 9 conference games instead of playing Mercer in week 11.

Why were they completely wrong? Every poll in every swing state was a tight race. They all just tipped one way, but they were all still tight.
