(Other than because of road trips, Ewing missed zero classes in his four years at Georgetown. That speaks more to Ewing than Thompson, but whatever.) One of my favorite Thompson stories: one of his players goes to JT and complains that he thinks one of his professors is racist. “Well, what are you going to do about it?”

Here’s a telling story: Mourning was down to Maryland and Georgetown and Maryland put him up at a swanky hotel with a tv in the bathroom. Georgetown had him stay in the dorms. That stopped working after a while (Kenny Anderson) but Thompson wouldn’t change his ways.

For what it’s worth…people used to make posts on BWI about Myrtle Beach, and I used to respond mentioning razpsu’s restaurant.

Fast forward a few years, and all of the political posts turned me off enough that I now go to Myrtle every year with 16 guys for a golf trip, and I’d never consider it as an option. Without all of the posts, I’d be bringing in a crew of guys a few days every year. It’s unfortunate.

I guess I was giving you the benefit of the doubt in assuming you’re talking about a 4 loss Georgia team. 100% of the media (and everyone) should agree that a 3 loss Georgia team gets in at this point as the SEC Champ. That one is a no brainer.

From the online reviews, you aren't missing anything ... the place is going in the pooper. Run down with incredibly slow service and blah food. It takes a lot to screw up breakfast but they seem to be making a concerted "effort" toward doing so. Maybe if he spent less time antagonizing on here and more time dedicated to his business, it wouldn't have collapsed. Then again, based on his posting here, maybe the problem is that he did get more involved.
