Looks like its going to boost the old SOS either way. That game at the Forum in December keeps getting bigger and bigger.

I would advise you to check out Auburn. Actually Memphis vs Auburn play tonight. The best team in the country will be featured in that game and I’m not talking about Memphis.Memphis might be the best team in the country right now despite all of Penny's coaching efforts
I don’t know I’d go that far. They’re on a heater right now for sure and playing good ball but they’re shooting out of their minds. Don’t know if they can keep that pace.Memphis might be the best team in the country right now despite all of Penny's coaching efforts
We match up horribly with Auburn. They will beat us by 30I would advise you to check out Auburn. Actually Memphis vs Auburn play tonight. The best team in the country will be featured in that game and I’m not talking about Memphis.
We split with pretty much the same team (for the most part) last year and beat them in Starkville, and that was with The Artist Formerly Known As Tolu Smith starting at center and sleepwalking through a single-single (9 points/6 rebounds) and Shakeel throwing bricks at the backboard from three. We match up horribly with Auburn. Kinda like Utah and SMU were bad matchups? We match up horribly with Auburn. They will beat us by 30
I’d like to see what we could do against them in a sold out Hump. Unfortunately we only play them in their place this year which typically means bad things for us.We split with pretty much the same team (for the most part) last year and beat them in Starkville, and that was with The Artist Formerly Known As Tolu Smith starting at center and sleepwalking through a single-single (9 points/6 rebounds) and Shakeel throwing bricks at the backboard from three.
I mean you’re comparing apples to oranges with this. Auburn is likely going to contend for a 1 or 2 seed, I think Utah and SMU are solid but not 100% sure either one is even a tournament team.Kinda like Utah and SMU were bad matchups?
I think Auburn will be a challenge for anyone to beat. I’m just saying every decent opponent has been a “bad matchup”. Is there a decent team that’s a good matchup?I mean you’re comparing apples to oranges with this. I think the matchup thing only really applies when the team we are playing has similar or better talent. We had more talent than Utah or SMU so that kinda outweighs it for me.I think Auburn will be a challenge for anyone to beat. I’m just saying every decent opponent has been a “bad matchup”. Broome is their big matchup problem for us in my mind. But he's nothing we haven't seen before.I think the matchup thing only really applies when the team we are playing has similar or better talent. We had more talent than Utah or SMU so that kinda outweighs it for me.
I do think matchups will matter a lot in conference play.
