That was their entire schedule last season besides PSU and tOSU, and their schedule this year is no better.
Penn State's schedule is only tougher if you actually believe West Virginia is a real power 5 team. Most people don't.
The schedule was made years ahead of time thinking WV would be a challenge, just like Auburn the past 2 years. Michigan made up their schedule full of Nancys for guaranteed wins, or as you said "pre season games".
