I’m curious. What other ‘knee jerk’ reaction has selmon made? Firing Zac was absolutely necessary but even if he was canned just to settle the fans as you say, the fans are the ones who pay the bills. Without them there would be no program or CFB as we know it.

Well that and you have to have coaches to run the team. It’s not like they fired him after the Egg Bowl with no games left.

We were lucky to even get three points out of that drive. Fortunately for us, USM is horrible.

Just getting here and started reading on page 1. Lots of pessimism and yet the score is 23-7 and Rogers and Woody are back. I don't expect a win against Ole Miss, bastards, but this game is looking about the way it should. The basketball team does look and play better.

Some bush league stuff from Southern Miss there with the hideout play. Glad the refs caught that one.

The team has had no grit all season. Up 23-7 you gotta finish it against a Sun Belt team. Now were looking at a 4th quarter fight against USM. A score here helps but we should be working the back ups in right now
