I said earlier in the season that Moreno could show enough to be a first round draft pick. One particular poster was insistent enough that he wouldn't to want to bet me on it.

Moreno is a solid 1, preferably 2 years away from even thinking about the NBA! I mean, if he wants to get drafted just to get drafted, I guess he can go before then, but that would be a huge mistake.

Here’s a little exercise for you… Turn on ANY NBA game, and watch the C’s play, and who they are, and picture Moreno going head to head with them… Spoiler Alert: Be prepared to LYAO, at the thought of that happening anytime soon!

Been saying this for a while now. Moreno would be a great 1st round draft and stash player for a contending team drafting at the back end of the first round like the Celtics(at 24 he'd be an 8 million dollar investment contract wise).

Moreno will be a more significant NBA player than JQ.

Byproduct of a great freshman season. Big men are always a commodity.

His three point shooting or lack there of might hold him out of the first round and allow UK to pay him enough to stay for his sophomore season

3 point shot aside, if he could even just hit that jumper he hit against LSU for the win just once or even twice a game, it'd open up so much for everyone including himself. He does than and then works in one from 3 every so often like BG used to do and he won't be here for a 3rd year.

I'm not ready to put Moreno as a first round pick yet. I think he can be, perhaps as soon as the end of next season, but he has had some real up and downs throughout the season.

Another year in college will do him well.

Please come back
Yes. He does get pushed around some near the basket. I'm gonna be interested to see how he handles the thugs from UT today. I think he needs more strength to be a pro player. But money talks.

This draft is one of the strongest in recent memory. Moreno could play his way into the lottery next season and still earn a big NIL payday. He'd earn more in NIL than a first contract as a borderline first round pick. He should definitely go through the process and get feedback, but coming back to work on his body and his game will pay huge dividends IMHO.

If he used the same shot form as he used on that LSU shot then I believe he could do that now.

He needs at least one more year in college, he needs to get stronger and be more polished. He has really had a good freshman year, I think he can be much better, he needs to be meaner and that will come with age and experience.

If he plays well down the stretch against quality big opponents, he's probably gone. No need in risking the kind of injury he sees JQ have.

That was a pretty jumper, I wish they would try to incorporate that into his game a couple times each game.

He needs to get better athletically…improve on quickness, strength, and get a little more lift. Right now he more or less “holds his own”…do that and he could dominate around the basket.

It’s not a risk anymore. NIL money is more than second round or late first round money. You can get hurt in the NBA same as college especially considering they play 82+ games not 33-40 like NCAA.

He should definitely stay another year at least. He has much to improve on and he will be drafted higher in a weaker draft for sure.
I just don't see room for him in the 1st round of this draft unless someone takes him on potential alone. Another year and he can be special. I think the teams at the combine will tell him to stay another year. He can be so much better than he is now, in time...and even if he didn't improve at all, he'll move up in next year's draft because of the strength of this one.

If BG can bottle the last two games and play that way going forward, he will be just fine. I would love to have MM back for one more season, and I think he needs it to get stronger. He is a good player but he gets pushed around a lot

MM is having a wonderful freshman season. He'll be back though and get stronger. His feedback in a NBA Draft evaluation would definitely be add adding 3-point shot to his game.
I think he stays. Fortunately for us this draft will be loaded with guys who are more ready for the league than him. He will make great $ here versus being a lower draft pick . Next year the dude could be a lottery pick.

We definitely need to open the checkbook for him next season.

He has a ton of work left to do to be NBA ready, IMO. He's still got baby fat!

Biggest issue I see with MM is what i thought would really hold him back as a freshman here. He is slow, plays below the rim, and can’t shoot consistently. Not a good combo for his position in the NBA. But, he has overcome a lot of that by being smart and really pushing himself. Maybe he will figure it out enough. Love the kids heart and want him back here as long as possible. I’ve had my crow for my thoughts on him before the season already.

His game is very limited at this time. UK will be giving him 7 figures to start every game and improve his draft stock. If he just wants the 1st round contract thats fine, but he is a couple of years away from being able to contribute in an NBA game IMO

MM needs to get to the point where if the ball hits his hands = it’s HIS.
Great potential for NBA career & could see OKC or Lakers drafting him for future development.
