I went with my kids. First game I have been to in two years. I was boycotting Martin.
Great tmosphere! Love coach P's coaching style. 180 from Martin. Calm, instructs, teaches. Very rarely gets in the refs ear.
Very impressed by Josh Gray. Not the most talented player but works his *** off on the boards and defense.
Bosman-Verdonk (sp)- going to be a very good player. Got a couple cheap fouls called on him. He played tentative after getting his 3rd.
Jackson- physically the best player on the court. Good spot-up shooter and can back a player down. He really needs to work on taking his man off the dribble. He struggles here but he's 17 years old. It will come.
Chico is the man. Played a very good all around game.
Hayden- gives 100% on every play but tried to do too much tonight. I like what he brings to the team with his grit and toughness.
Meechie- i know he was playing with an injury but he really struggled mentally. Three really bad turnovers in the 2nd half in which he just stood around after making the turnover rather than hustling back on D. Huge missed free throw at the end. I didn't get to see much of the first game. Maybe he was just off tonight.
