I know it feels that way, but it happens every year. Whoever gets hot down the stretch in November usually takes it. The difference is that we have a 12-team playoff this year, so you have to win more than one game in January a month and a half later.

Johnny Rebs are all up in this thing. Next week one of the few times you catch me cheering for LSU. I can cheer for Arkansas. I can cheer for Oklahoma. But never Tennessee, Ole Miss, or Florida

There’s always a week with a lot of upsets, but I think this is beyond that? 5 of the top 11 is a lot, especially with only one to a ranked team. Would have been 6 of 11 if Miami hadn’t been bailed out.

Downside to this, it puts Mississippi solidly right back in playoff contention.
