I wonder how much money we paid consulting firms to come up with the UofSC idea and how much we paid consulting firms to come up with USC idea.
I love that logo. The lady on the left is giving the finger to the 'of'I've often wished the university would do more with the logo that is used on our rings that doesn't say a lick in English.

Has a Hugh Leatherman kind of feel to it - who's pockets were lined in these deals?
I only question why this wasn't done in the first place. What obstacles were perceived to be there that led us away from USC, that suddenly are no longer there for us to return to USC? And if they weren't there to begin with, IMO people who pushed the UofSC idea should no longer have anything to do with USC......
Folks who bought UofSC clothing and hats are either putting it back in the closet or dumping it on Ebay or dropping it in a donation box.
Folks who bought that sh!tt should no longer wear anything affiliated with Carolina. Take their support elsewhere.
"Sunset" the use of 'UofSC' adopted in 2019. That's a transparent euphemism for running like hell from the turd they laid.

It was a swing and a miss for sure - but actually impressed they tried something new. Colleges are notorious for doing things "the way we've always done it."
Have we tried TheUSC before? I think that's the message we really want to convey.
I believe we did back in the 1980s. Isn't there still a water tower near the campus with that printed on it.
It used to be on that smoke stack on campus & I recall seeing it on apparel in the 80s.
