That's a good pickup for the Cowboys. And also a trend that should be watched.

Landon Robideau, who is from Minnesota, has been committed to Minnesota for 2 years. And now DT has flipped him.

The Cowboys' most recent verbal before today was Kody Routledge, who DT flipped from a Nebraska verbal.

There's no question that Okla. St's roster needed an infusion of talent. Assembling a college wrestling roster is a tad more challenging (IMHO) than competing as a college (and international) wrestler. That said, DT has been successful at pretty much everything he's worked at. So, it shouldn't surprise anyone if in a few years he has Okla. St. in the top echelon at NCAAs. He may be ticking off a few of his fellow head coaches (though Manning seems to get ticked off by everything, LOL), but Okla. St.'s administration is paying him to win, not to make friends in the wrestling coaching community.

Looks like David is doing some big boy ‘crootin”.

Oklahoma State is gonna be tough in 2 years. DT is getting a lot of elite wrestlers. Still won’t beat us though. Cael and staff are on another level.

Last week OKST also landed 125/133 Ronnie Ramirez, 2x CA state champ/3x finalist, #27 on Willie's 2025 board.

Real good potential training with Gilman, Spratley, Hughes, and Fix.

LOL, you caught me. I even posted about Ramirez's verbal, but forgot about it when making the post to which you've replied.

@El_Jefe -- any idea if, or how much, PSU was involved with Jayden?

Haven't heard anything. Probably didn't do much more than dip a toe in the water, with all of the 174+ talent in the room and on the way.

If I were going after a 2026 guy in that weight range with no obvious lineup spot, it would be Aaron Stewart from IL.

But James is a fantastic prospect (Willie has him #11 in the class) and a great pickup for VT.

Meanwhile, Rutgers can't keep top talent at home.
