Looks like David is doing some big boy ‘crootin”.That's a good pickup for the Cowboys. And also a trend that should be watched.
Landon Robideau, who is from Minnesota, has been committed to Minnesota for 2 years. And now DT has flipped him.
The Cowboys' most recent verbal before today was Kody Routledge, who DT flipped from a Nebraska verbal.
There's no question that Okla. St's roster needed an infusion of talent. Assembling a college wrestling roster is a tad more challenging (IMHO) than competing as a college (and international) wrestler. That said, DT has been successful at pretty much everything he's worked at. So, it shouldn't surprise anyone if in a few years he has Okla. St. in the top echelon at NCAAs. He may be ticking off a few of his fellow head coaches (though Manning seems to get ticked off by everything, LOL), but Okla. St.'s administration is paying him to win, not to make friends in the wrestling coaching community.
He’s building a team that can compete for a trophy but will need to up his recruiting game to get to the top spotLooks like David is doing some big boy ‘crootin”.
Last week OKST also landed 125/133 Ronnie Ramirez, 2x CA state champ/3x finalist, #27 on Willie's 2025 board. That's a good pickup for the Cowboys. And also a trend that should be watched.

Real good potential training with Gilman, Spratley, Hughes, and Fix.
interesting. No surprise that DT is going after the elite prospects.
