He won't get 3.5 million. Nico did't get the 4 mil he wanted and ended up on a train wreck UCLA team. I feel like we would get more value taking a competent transfer QB with a high completion percentage and mobility at half the price and using the money on RBs, DL, DT, etc. You get more value spreading money around.
Dylan’s deal was actually just around a million per year for a total of 3.5 million for 3 years. That’s what a booster of substance told me.

I am not sure why Dayton had anything to do with it. The kid was not good. His offers proved that and as far as I know he hasn’t signed anywhere. I think Nebraska threw him a bone hoping others schools may offer from getting attention. Just my opinion
I would imagine that the money demands for a high schooler probably turned away most potential suitors. He’s a nice prospect. He’s not unique.

Maybe his family of lineman should've groomed him for the OL. Right now he looks like the rich kid who got to play QB because of his last name.
