PU had another late half/game defensive gaffe to allow a long TD pass to tie their game.
. . . and the announcers make sure they point that out on every penalty called against MichiganMichigan getting referined by this crew.
Now 2:25 left, Purdue ball, Maryland calling timeouts. Wow, this would be a bad loss for Maryland.PU TD. PU 24-23.
Purdue ball at the two, up one point. I expect them to take some knees here. Now 2:25 left, Purdue ball, Maryland calling timeouts. Wow, this would be a bad loss for Maryland.
They're warming up already. A dropped pass (hit the ground) by Michigan that's called a completion.I have seen at least 4 good pass break ups by IU that will be called PI next week!
Agreed. Ruled an incompletion on the field there is no way the replay supports overturning. If anything it confirmed by the call - the top of the ball clearly hit the ground while the ball was still moving. They're warming up already. Ineligible player downfield. Right call.MD TD with 35 secs left. Go for 2 to tie. It’s good.
Should Purdue have not scored when up 24-23, they have the ball on the 1, MD out of time outs with 1:29 to go, it is 3rd down and PU scores. They could have taken a knee and run the clock down to around :45 seconds, used one of their own TO’s and decide to score or make MD go 99. I think I would have tried to score on 4 th down
