It took a blown assignment to keep Maryland from tying the game with the two-point conversion. If Purdue had lost, I would have filed that under “Epic Meltdowns.”
That’s the conundrum. You would try to score on 3rd, I would have milked 40 more off the clock… don’t think either decision is wrong… btw, the MD an is legit

Same situation as Ravens vs Bill's. I'd have also kicked on 4th down. You have to maximize pressure. Seeing as how they moved 84 yards, they played to their 8 pt lead. You made them move efficiently, score, and complete a 2 just to tie. They went 2/3.
