Need to defend the middle of the field better
This game is a highlight reel for two of the best WR's in the Big 10. Washington and Harrison.

It seems like throwing over the middle gives receivers a chance to create in space and make plays. It’s peculiar that this is so apparent to OSU and we can’t figure it out.

Against one of the best teams in the country you can't act like red zone trips are going to happen every other drive. You need points every time you get there.

A mere 3 points is too pedestrian for Franklin. Those missing points are probably going to bite PSU in the *** later in the game.
Well if the kicking game had been better in previous games, there would have been confidence that the kick would be made and that confidence could factor into the decision...OSU clearly trusts its kicking game, but there is no such confidence for PSU, and unfortunately rightly so imho...
See how explosive that FG gets if PSU loses by 3 or less at the end of the game.
