I'm not criticizing Tank Smith personally, but rather Franklin's overt pattern of playing favorites. Tank was clearly granted a scholly solely because he is the nephew of Terry Smith. Tank is nowhere near being PSU's #3 tailback. Sorry, I'm not buying that line of BS.

And this is why PSU Football Inc will never reach the upper echelons of college football.

This game was way in hand and control…coaches can feel that and put in back ups and call low risk plays. It’s pretty pedestrian actually and everyone Except the 2-3s are in cruise control.

About Tank Smith and the nepotism, lot of schools hav.e it and you know we did it back in the day with Jay, Gantner few others…Clemson is notorious for it right now…Herbstreits kids have No Business there nor does Dabo’s son…

We are fine…hopefully win the rest and go 11-2…We Are!!

I'm not aware of any PSU fans that are happy that PSU lost to tOSU or to UM. But what does that have to do with fans' celebrating PSU's performance against Maryland?

Enjoy that which is positive. I see nothing pleasant in wallowing around in past frustration and disappointment even when something good happens in the present to one of your favorite teams.

Today was great fun, I enjoyed it. But, I’m troubled by being outside looking in, seemingly forever. People like myself are constantly criticized for wanting more. All 10-2 means is State didn’t lose a game they should win [yet]

Not at all…I shouldn’t be lazy here on the couch with my iPad watching Texas TcU…Tank is deserving he is on the team puts the work in…I would have played him. i Like resting players and giving the 2, 3, 4s playing time,.

simply explaining the game situation thus to play Tank. Also my use of other programs has to do with we aren’t upper echelon comment he made was my other program example e.g. Clemson

Well we already lost those 2 games this season, and dwelling on it, still being angry/disappointed, whatever. Or, you can either focus on that or you put them in the part for right now and enjoy team pushing to go 11-2. Which will help with recruiting and perhaps get the talent a step closer.

We are not any closer to OSU or MI. I'd agree were even future away. We are having a real hard time recruiting hi end defensive interior players. Our recruiting is so uneven that even if DA progresses we are very thin at other positions.
What exactly does a 10-2 record do for us as a program when the two losses are to the teams that matter most?
You can't over recruit that.
