Yep...the fact that he was our #3RB today had zero to do with it...and what kind of a complete jackass would be insulting the talents of a kid that gives so much to our program (especially in a 30-0 win)?I was trying to figure out why Tank Smith was in the game instead of more talented players. Google provided the answer.

Because Keyvonne Lee is out, Tank is #3 on depth chart. Remember we had 2 RBs leave the team this season. Tank deserved the PT.I was trying to figure out why Tank Smith was in the game instead of more talented players. Google provided the answer.

BW is the most miserable POS PSU fan that exists or just a long time troll. Hard to tell.
Some statements from CJF in his press conference:
- back-to-back games where the D got 6 or more sacks; 1st time PSU has accomplished that since 2007
- 4th game this season where PSU's OL did not allow a sack; 1st time PSU has accomplished that since 2011
- Joey Porter was out due to a non-football injury
- said he did pushups because everyone is held accountable, and he got his 1st unsportsmanlike penalty in 12 years
- thinks they've done a good job of committing to improving in short yardage situations. Likes the package they're running, as it puts the defense in a tough spot as PSU has so many options/weapons
- start of the season they had a plan to get Drew some experience. They're past that now. Now the question is how soon can they get him into games where the lead is safe
- wishes they were in a better situation at OL for Drew, but due to injuries their 2-deep is thin

I'm not criticizing Tank Smith personally, but rather Franklin's overt pattern of playing favorites. Tank was clearly granted a scholly solely because he is the nephew of Terry Smith. Tank is nowhere near being PSU's #3 tailback. Sorry, I'm not buying that line of BS.
And this is why PSU Football Inc will never reach the upper echelons of college football.
Since you can "undeniably" state that he wasn't the #3 tailback today, then can you tell me who was our third best tailback that was dressed? And what it is that distanced him so much from Tank (recruiting pedigree, what you've seen in practice, something else)?
And since you undeniably have the inside scoop, otherwise I'd have to assume you wouldn't be stating such utter BS....could you let me know when Tank was actually granted a scholarship? I mean, obviously you wouldn't use his receiving a scholarship as proof of what's holding us back unless it were an "undeniable" fact, right?

Injuries and transfers be damned! He should still be sixth on the chart and we should just run with an empty backfield when the game is out of reach.
I'm not aware of any PSU fans that are happy that PSU lost to tOSU or to UM. But what does that have to do with fans' celebrating PSU's performance against Maryland?
Enjoy that which is positive. I see no value in wallowing around in past frustration and disappointment even when something good happens in the present to one of your favorite teams.

He is the #3 back by default. Keyvonne Lee is injured. The guys behind Smith are walk-ons. It is Allen, Singleton and Smith as remaining RBs.
I guess the difference between you and I is that I actually look at who else we have on the roster beyond Tank before I state that he's clearly not the next best option...then again, I also actually pay attention to who is on scholarship, rather than acting like a petulant child and declaring our coaches idiots for handing him a scholarship even though he's still a walk-on.Did you even bother to watch the second half of the 4th quarter? Nothing that I've seen, or that the coaches have seen, would indicate that Holzworth should be ahead of Tank. But why let facts get in the way of a good "James Franklin doesn't know what he's doing" rant.
No. He (TS) is the #3 RB by anointment. PSU actually has better walk-on RB's.
Being on scholarship doesn't automatically mean you're better than a walk on. It just means that you're getting free tuition.
