Only reason I don't like the call is I think Michigan was ready for it after the fake punt. I don't think the 3points is that important at this juncture. But if Michigan looks ready for the play, call time out and come back and just go for it. If you don't get it they are pinned back. Better that than where the ball is now.

I didn't like the fake punt even though it worked. I really didn't like the pass to Stout. I was OK with going for it but not that play.

I don't understand why PSU doesn't utilize TEs inside the 10 yd line.

WTF?!?

A fake is more likely to score than an offensive play? Even if it fails Michigan's at the 2. Just gave them a chunk play out to the 30. Even better, take the points!
Or something like a shovel pass. Something that if it fails leaves pinned deep.

Agree completely. Save that for later.

You aren't likely to punt em that deep. Go for it. It's either 7 or 0.

Perfect example of Lions not making the few plays that decide close games. SC didn't have to zip it in there to TE, he was wide open. Calling for the fake FG is just shooting yourself in the foot.

Only gonna survive so long without a running game. If we can just get 125 yards on the ground today - we win
