Nice to see the lead, but what a weird half. Where's the pass rush? Where the O-Line?

That turn of events in the last 45 seconds of the half may have just won this game.
Yeah, but we got lucky as heck with that Purdue fumble.

If you ever start to think that football coaches are smarter than you about football, all you need to do is watch them repeatedly implement prevent D strategies, as the other team walks down the field for a score with no resistance.

Huge last couple min of the half. Porter makes up for the dropped pick and Clifford making good decisions. Like where this is going.

Not too worried about the pass rush, as Purdue gets the ball out quick.... OL on the other hand: run game still looks a bit putrid

What you call luck, I call a nice play by Wheatley.
Luck, from a strategy perspective. A singular player making an outstanding play to counter that awful strategy’s awfulness, doesn’t change the awfulness.

hope we see some first down passes now that we went the entire first half running on first down. Love the way Singleton and Allen run....they will break some long ones this year

It seems like we get 3-4 yds when Singleton or Allen carry the ball. Not when Lee carries the ball.

Have to agree. Lee seems a step less decisive when the decision needs to be made.

Nothing wrong with a fullback... Unless you are Franklin... "Fullbacks only do one thing."

Like get first downs. Catch passes. Score TD's..............
