Who are we picking??? I keep seeing Malik Willis… say it isn’t so! I am hoping for Charles Cross or the center from Iowa.

Gimme some names my man....how about that huge DT from Georgia or Alabama?WR/DL
Lindenbaum from Iowa would be a great pick. But with the (sadly) death of Haskins I think they go QB.Who are we picking??? I keep seeing Malik Willis… say it isn’t so! I am hoping for Charles Cross or the center from Iowa.
They're all so different and with the Steelers base being a 3-4 they need a Javon Hargrave type that can clog up the middle and then rush the passer. Tuitt is still up in the air from what I've heard. Heyward and Alualu are getting up there on age as well. Walker may be the first pick overall so that leaves Jordan Davis or Deonte Wyatt.Gimme some names my man....how about that huge DT from Georgia or Alabama?
I still think they go best WR available which could be the 6th WR drafted in the first round.
They drafted Dan Moore last year and Ben said he's going to be a great tackle. They also signed Chuks to a 3 year $29+ million contract this off season so I don't think they'll be drafting an OT first round, nevermind trading up. As for the rest of the OL, they bought 2 or 3 other players in free agency. The guy they brought in from the Vikings is a beast.Trade up with the Giants to 7 (they have picks 5 and 7) and take the best OL available. Assuming Neal from Alabama is gone, take Cross from Miss State.
I agree, but they really only have 3 starting WR on the roster right now if you count Boykins, who they picked up after the Rat Birds cut a couple of weeks ago. Also, Dionte Johnson is in his contract year. They always been so good at finding value in the draft at that position though.
From what I heard, it will be Najee's first trip out of the country. Good for him!Chase gets sent to Vegas, Harris to Mexico City? Good old seniority.
Will Brisker make it to 52?I think at 20 anything goes really. In other words, you go with the best prospect overall in the areas of need. For the Steelers, DL, WR, QB are all needs. I'm thinking by pick 20 the next best player will be a QB or a WR.
So I'll go with QB Willis or WR Watson from North Dakota State.
DL comes next at 52.
Safety after that.
Pittsburgh sports radio saying, as we speak, that Willis to the Steelers is a done deal if he is still on the board.
Hoping the Panthers take him at 6Oh, joy.
If nothing else, I have read stories about him being a terrific person.Pittsburgh sports radio saying, as we speak, that Willis to the Steelers is a done deal if he is still on the board.
And smart. If nothing else, I have read stories about him being a terrific person.
They are not drafting a Center. They signed two free agents capable of playing C and have invested in a high draft pick last year on a Center.Lindenbaum from Iowa would be a great pick. But with the (sadly) death of Haskins I think they go QB.
You're not wrong but Ben was on the WDVE this week and said draft a center and move Green to guard. Maybe he hasn't been paying attention to the free agent moves. They are not drafting a Center. Not Kenny Pickett, not Kenny Pickett.
