The 4-game redshirt rule has got to change. Eliminate it completely or just give everyone 5 years. Players quitting mid season is awful.
I agree. It really does suck and is terrible for the game. I hate seeing it at any school......except this one.

That clown DB Lanier for us that refused to make a tackle Saturday is on his 4th including us. He began his pilgrimage at AL, then Indiana, then EMCC and now us. Wonder where he will be next year? It just hit me, I wonder if he came here because he knew Dantzler at AL?
Nah, hate the player. "Hate the game" is a player entering the portal at the end of the season. Quitting mid-season is on the player since he committed to the team for the football year.
Others have stated that Lanier must have not realized it was the 5 yard line and not the endzone and I agree. At least that's my hope.
Seems like he would have told the coaches that, instead of letting them bench him the rest of the game
You still bench the lack of recognition but I don't think it's because he gave up.
Or just make it where you can't both redshirt and transfer in the same year.
