Didn’t sting. You just come on here to stir up crap. There wasn’t a single comment that was negative but you couldn’t help your pathetic self and just had to start. If you were half as terrible as a coach as you are a poster I hope you were fired in your first season. Troll.

YET YOU KEEP FEEDING HIM!!

I honestly believe that 2022 will be the first year since the sanctions that we’re at a good point with the OL. They’ve been trying to get QUALITY depth on the OL for years and never had it. Huge drop from 1’s to 2’s. Now there are legitimate collegiate starters at the 2-deep. This is YUUUUUUGE and it will only compound moving forward

“Fashanu said he rarely looks at social media and had no idea about his rising draft stock until teammates showed him a mock draft this season.”

And,

“Fashanu also said he'll get his degree in supply chain management sometime in the next year and plans to start his master's.

"Penn State is an awesome place to go to school," he said. "And I can get my education for free."”

Please take this opportunity to remember that Penn State has a culture problem.

Wow... good for him! Had to be a very tough decision
CentervilleElkscoach predicted he would return. Indicated weeks ago when speculation began that Olu and his parents are education focused. I think given his age, it is a smart decision. He can get a large insurance policy (I believe thru PSU) and NIL $.

Does this mean Shelton moves across the line to starter @ RT and then goes back to LT after Olu departs?

How's this for a starting OL in 2023:
-LT (Olu)
-LG (Landon T)
-Center (Hunter N if Scruggs doesn't opt to take his COVID bonus year)
-RG (Sal W or Vega)
-RT (Shelton)

Finally OL looking as a strength again. This was sorely needed for quite awhile. The importance of this given the talent at running back and having a very talented, but inexperienced QB can't be overstated.

This announcement, and shoring up the OL, is huge for the success of the stud RB room and Allar. Next year's O may be something really special but I'm also hopeful this pays dividends for years to come in terms of recruiting top OL talent.

Omar, he coached high school football once, so he knows more than everyone else about football.
Trust me, I remember my high school football coaches, they were all brilliant minds :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

But look at us (and people who look like us).

News reports on Fashanu's decision to stay continue to state that he would likely have been a Top Ten pick in the NFL draft had he declared for the Draft. I knew he was good, but I have to admit that I had NO IDEA this Draft Stock was ANYWHERE near that high. He was apparently regarded as the top offensive lineman in the Draft. Wow. With the benefit of that knowledge, I have to say I am exited about this news. Having Fashanu there at left tackle next season will surely facilitate Allar's transition to starter, and make it easier for the Lions' stud RB's to shine.
