Oweh's run down high flying block on what looked like an easy basket. Yes I know Patricia Adams called a foul on that but it wasn't.. my point is there was a mistake that was about to lead to an incredibly easy basket and then Otega showed how this team never gives up and has become much more defensive minded.

Another important point is many of us wondered who's gonna be that go to player at the end of the game and I think that was a fair question. It's been answered.. We have three of them..... DA, Otega, and Chandler

100% agree about the Oweh play and thought the same exact thing after the play. The message that sends when your senior leader and best player decides to do that is almost more important than any bucket he scored.

Sidenote: when he started to chase down Boswell on that play, I literally thought it was silly and there was no way he was going to get there. That dude floats when he takes off with a full head of steam.

Patricia ... I saw what you did there. Well done.

He was really sucking on the whistle helping the Vols out. Gotta give him credit.

If also helped that Tennessee missed a lot of close bunnies in the 2nd half. I think they were expecting a hard foul from us and just choked on the put backs. Now we also missed a lot of layups in this game, so it evened out. I’m just hoping that UT isn’t in our bracket for the NCAA tournament.
They were also tired. Ament was a sweaty mess by the end of the game. The more intense practices seem to be helping with stamina (duh). It’s like we weren’t practicing at game speed/intensity before. Now we are and we clearly wore Tennessee down.

Some of those bad losses looked like they had never practiced together ever.

It's also OTEGA, not Ortega.

And that block was all ball. That crap call could have cost us the game.
If we had lost, our coach and players would have gotten buried, but they would have had a legit excuse with the way the second half was called. Adams is like Shows, he doesn't even try to pretend he's not ****ing us

No offense meant towards you but it is Otega. You nailed the Patricia Adams though.

Before I opened the thread that was the play I was thinking about. Thought it at the time. That was not the Kentucky we saw vs. Gonzaga, or at Vandy.

They missed a lot of those because Malachi or MO’s hands were in the way. They blocked the **** out of the ball in that second half. The lid was locked the **** down.

If you watch that last play where Moreno gets the rebound, he throws the ball to Chandler. Then, Pat Adams blows the whistle and quickly assesses a foul to someone fouling Moreno. That asshat didn’t want Chandler to shoot the FTs. Wanted to give TN one last chance or so he thought. Watch Adams’ arm go up WAY after Moreno releases the ball, after Chandler has the ball secured. Subtle things like this happen all the time with these crooks.

He’s always helping a team out against us. So many refs in the SEC are inept, or corrupt that we can’t find a decent crew most games. Sometimes we get the entire crew for a game.
