It really doesn’t matter what the typical investor thinks. You don’t like it, sell your stock. Firms like Blackrock will just buy those shares at a lower price and gain more influence. AB stock has already started to recover. Currently $58, 52 week high is $67.What do the rest of the shareholders think about this? Surely the cause wouldn't be to just sell beer to the .01% would it? That would cost them a lot more than $20B.
ESG scores are controlling all of this. And every corp in the US will have to adhere to that to operate. So we won’t be able to escape it.
