Pornography is now the #2 addiction behind gambling in the USA and rising. Instead of learning how to romance a woman they can hive the most vile stuff appear on a screen in two clicks.
Maybe Gen Z more than Millennials. Society is becoming feminized which isn't always a bad thing but there are consequences. Plus, lots of single moms have trouble turning boys into men. Women, especially educated women, are getting a lot choosier. High quality women are outbidding low-status women for small number of high quality men. Get a college degree, a good job and stay in shape and you'll have sex. Lots of lost boys in America aren't doing these things. Easy access to porn is a reason. Satisfaction in minutes for some, but that's a pretty empty life without meaning and purpose.
I have degrees and a good job. But I am not in shape. I am fat as ****. I still get sex. Bring on the big girls and we will roll around like two hogs in a rut.
Meanwhile Chinese don’t allow effeminates displayed in any media - only the strong masculine type. Limit access to social media/ games to 1 hr/day and the only viral videos are a science math and sporting successes.

Seems to me like an effect of online dating. Probably correlates to the men that are having sex are less often in monogamous relationships, and have more partners.
How is it possible that a 29-year old (heterosexual) man has had zero female sex partners? WTF?
Also, the stat for that second graph is interesting: "share of men under age 30 who report zero female sex partners since they turned 18." What about before they turned 18? These men could have had at least one female sex partner BEFORE they turned 18, which would mean they are not virgins, right?

This is one of many problems that would be solved if we can figure out how to increase the percentage of homes that have fathers in the home.
Progress: Nearly 40% of Gen Z, including 30% of young Christians, identify as LGBTQ (and maybe some other letters and symbols and numbers...I can't keep up with the latest horseshit from gender theory). College and the internet are awesome for young people looking for status, uniqueness and attention.

Back when I was an undergrad at State 30+ years ago, I know folks who got married who met through interacting on MUDs, online BBSes, etc.

This is backed up by statistics. In 2013, the average male had 22% less testosterone than 1993. I would imagine it's only gotten worse in 9 years since then.
Video games. I swear that's it for a big portion of that 27%. I've got a young engineer (mid-20s) that works for me - kid leaves work and goes to the gym, then goes home to game until 1-2am.
Their social life is online. It's easy, requires no effort. That's where they get their satisfaction.

- More men raised by women (breakdown of nuclear family)
- Less sufficient females (i.e. women raised to compete with men)
It's a worldwide issue. And it's not ALL bad - more passivity creates more docile dudes not willing to go to war or whatever. But if one country ever gets it under control, they might dominate. But it's also not natural so all these incels end up in gangs or shooting up schools.

Video games during typical social hours is definitely a part of it. Being an actual adult with adult responsibilities for the last couple of decades, I don't think I've noticed the trend, but reading up on it is alarming. Plus, I'm starting to notice it from friends older kids making comments.

The more time our narcissist culture (skewed to the youth) dedicates to documenting their lives and making themselves appear interesting to strangers online, the less time there is to actually get laid. Plus, that experience doesn't really set you up to say and do the things you need to do to actually manage to 17.

Porn is a lot more dangerous than people realize. Folks need to stay away from that ****. It's not real life - at all, preys on men's insecurities, so it obviously becomes a cycle. Women want confidence, and porn strips it.
This is true. Where I work they typically hire straight out of school. So the workplace has just gotten younger and younger over the years I have worked here. When I first started there was always conversation in the hallways. Now it's rare that there is anybody in the hallway. And if there is, they don't talk.
Russia is doing the same. Putin is taking measures to promote the nuclear family, get the birth rates up, and the youth are being trained early in combat skills. Has been for years.
There is a distinct difference is how Russia and China are doing things as compared with the West. As far as who the enemy is, that really doesn't matter for the US. The enemy lies within at the moment. We are just lucky that no one else can match us in strength (yet). We've been lucky that China has done a bunch of stuff to limit their population, and obviously Russia had been crippled for years and years until Putin took over.
I don't see their rises stopping anytime soon, as I also don't see our decline stopping anytime soon. Liberal policies will ensure we get weaker as a society here, as I don't see a red wave happening anytime soon either. Baby boomers will be gone in 20 years, and if a bunch of people who currently vote blue, do not wake up and vote the other way, well, you get what you get.

That article kind of mentions it, but there is other research out there showing that the rise in young people that "identify" as some LGBTQ+ group is almost entirely driven by females that don't actually appear to be anything other than heterosexual based on their responses to questions about their actions. So they'll claim to be bisexual, but have only hooked up with or dated guys as far back as the questions go. Or they'll claim to be demisexual or pansexual or whatever but only actually date guys.
Online dating was not nearly as prevalent then as it is now. And online dating tends to drive a "winner take most" dynamic. The vast majority of the "likes" or "messages" or "swipes" or whatever from women on internet dating sites go to something like 10% of the males. Not sure if the trend has continued, but the trend probably around a decade ago or maybe 15 years ago was for many more high school and even college students to graduate as virgins, but for the ones that were having sex to have more of it with more partners. At the time it was interpreted as though more young people were actually internalizing religious teaching about sex, and the ones that didn't were really dropping former societal norms about casual sex. But it seems likely that the no sex crowd had nothing to do with religion and was just a growing share of people that were socially inept and were put at even more disadvantage by the rise of social media and online dating and also alternative escapes to the anxiety of social interactions such as video games and/or pornography.

Unless folks are finding the authoritarian nature of China appealing nowadays? Going by recent history, maybe Americans now have an appetite to be strong armed by a central government or a charismatic megalomaniac? We have a bunch of different people in this country, many of which I'd consider weirdos, because we're free. I like it that way. Way better than the alternative...like China. But I guess as long as they get the sissies in line, some here might think that's pretty neat. Whatever...we're free to believe and support that....bc 'Merica.
