A few more
Those are some monster bulls. Looks like you were in the Bridger/Teton NF area in early fall in some of, if not all those photos. The mountain silhouette photo gives it away. If that's the area what elevations were you guys in? 7500-9000ish?

Starting to build points in WY and hope to get over there myself to this fall. The guys I hunt with are going to try for antelope tags in WY this year as they all have 5 points and should be guaranteed to draw for antelope. I only have 1 so they won't let me put in as part of the group as it will drag their odds down. I will have a 25% +/- shot of drawing myself.

Yep, we were hunting in the Teton Wilderness just South of the Yellowstone border in late September. Camp was at 8,000 feet and we hunted to about 9,500 feet. We were around Jackson Hole before the hunt and for a couple of days afterwards while we waited on the meat processor to get our elk cut up and frozen. I have done an antelope hunt in Eastern Wyoming width a good outfitter. They had a couple of areas. One took about 4 points and the other area only took one point. Good food, nice lodge and lots of antelope. I imagine that are booked up but shoot me a message if you want some details. We were booked for a mule deer hunt with them for this year but point creep got us.

Just for those that might be skeptical, here is a photo of the grizzly claw marks on a tree behind our tent last fall. He came by the night after we brought in a couple of elk which were on the meat pole. The 300 stays right beside the sleeping bag! We did not see him and slept through his visit.
I had a couple of closeups with them this summer. They were getting fat and happy on all the greenery in the summer so it wasn't to big of a deal. Don't want to test that theory in the fall when they are trying to fatten up or spring when they come out of hibernation with cubs.

Not a good photo but if you look right over the head of our Wrangler you will see a grizzly that visited our camp during daylight. That was on our 2018 trip. They finally had to get a shotgun and some bird shot to get him to leave. Him and some of his buddies visited our camp every night for 10 days.

BTW, back to the original question, bigger and slower better than smaller and faster applies to hunting game only. For spy satellites smaller and faster with ballistic tip bullets that open up quick get the nod.
