OT: Opinions On New President

Reel I bought recently. Always been a Pflueger fan and I needed a little lightweight spinning reel for throwing flies in place of becoming one of those euronymphing ássholes.

I only get hooks wet and set bait free, so I'm not sure how good this reel works.

I like bait casters to bass fish but I wanted a lightweight one to carry with me to crappie fish a little. This one is fun as hell. You can cast a little crappie jig 100 feet if you want with this one with no backlash.

I have a Shimano ultra light. I put 4 lb. test line on it, catalpa worm beetlespin lure and tear up bream and crappie in local small farm ponds. Fun way to fish.

I think I have some 300's from the 60's-70's around my house. Classic.
