You can tell there used to be a hot tub on my pool deck before I got here. That's probably the closest I'll get, at least in Florida.

Shopping Saturday, what you got?
I have a Garden Spa by Artesian. We've had it for about 18 months. We like it, but it is quite a bit of work to keep it pristinely clean, which is the only option for my wife.

We have it outside on a deck. Living in PA, it can be a challenge to pull the trigger on getting in once the temp hits the mid-30's.

One piece of advice, make sure you have a solid foundation for it before you have it delivered. Also, have a plan to empty it correctly.

EDIT: Consider the electrical connection too. Most are plug and play, but hard-wiring with higher voltage gives you better efficiency.

Sometimes with the plug and play spas, you can run either the jets or the heater and not both at the same time.....due diligence as in all large purchases

Don't fall for the scam of having tons of jets. You just need good ones in the right places. I have a Maxx 471 for over 10 years. Only had 1 service call. Don't go to a hot tub expo where they sell crap and then skip town.

We had one for years. Floor jets may look good but don’t add to massaging jets. Foot jets are desirable. An oxidizer helps keep it clean.
Ours was in a Florida room. It was nice to shovel snow and then go soak.

That applies to mine. I find that unless you're going to spend an hour in it, which is not advised, it really doesn't matter.

@laKavosiey-st lion the one I use is in the health club of my gym. No idea the brand but I bet it's 20 years old. It runs solid, but probably only good for 1 person (even though it's made for 2).

Feet jets would be great.
