I’m cleaning for Thanksgiving, lots of time to let my mind wander. I remembered this line, which I like very much.

“Accept the things to which fate binds you and love the people with whom fate brings you together but do so with all your heart.”

Happy Thanksgiving!

Very thankful this holiday season. My folks and sister are all doing great. I haven't killed any members at my part time job. Weather is great. Tapster is full.

Oh, and I got a new pal named Percival. A few years ago on Tom's old board, I posted about losing Canoe (a Blue Point Siamese) after 21 years. Percy is from the same breeder (who is retiring). He's 3.5 months old and weighs a couple lbs.

The similarities between Canoe and Percival are amazing. Note the vertical stripes on the foreheads - like a Jeep grill.

Whatever you paid for your beautiful new animal, donate same to your local shelter. It’s a rule (moms)

A purebred Siamese cat from a reputable breeder can cost between $500 and $2,800. The price can vary depending on the breeder's reputation and the cat's lineage.

im cool with say, $1400. Thx

I've given tens of thousands of dollars worth of synthetic turf and installations to shelters and rescues over the years.

Don't tell others what to do with their time or their money. It's bad form.

I just lent my copy of Meditations to friend at work who is interested in Stoicism. If he likes that, I will lend him my copy of Epictetus.
