Finally watched Black Panther - Wakanda Forever; thought overall it was pretty fun and I love the layer added with Namor (infinitely better in the movie than in the comics). It was clunky with some ham-fisted plot devices and weird pacing and I while I think Ironheart is better suited to a Marvel Disney+ show (and think she will be), thought it had more positives than negatives (Angela Basset was amazing!) and a nice addition to the MCU.

Ant-Man is next!

You liked it better than me. I thought it was just ok. I did think the first 10 minutes were a really nice tribute to Chadwick Boseman.
Angela Basset was very good in it.

I was on a plane and having some wine - thought it was good if not a good bit too long. I thought they handled the new Black Panther in the most logical way possible.

I need to see this.

The film looks like a postcard from the 1950s. I always loved those images. Too colorful to be real, they were like looking into another universe.

Typical Wes Anderson design. Have you seen any of his other films? Grand Budapest Hotel, The French Dispatch, Royal Tennenbaums, Life Aquatic, Moonlight Kingdom, and stop motion Isle of Dogs and Fantastic Mr Fox. All visual treats.

Does Schwartzman do anything other than Wes Anderson films? It's like he's got an exclusive contract, lol.

Funny you ask - Edgar Wright just announced an animated Scott Pilgrim series on Netflix and the entire original cast, including Schwartzman returns. He was also in the most recent season of Fargo.

News for Majors is pretty bad - dropped by management and PR firm and no future shoots with Marvel scheduled for at least a year. The cancellation is so quick these days; wonder what Marvel will do? Ezra Miller is on film being drunk and abusive and Flash is still coming out….

Yea looks like things have taken an even uglier turn. I saw Domingo Coleman's name being mentioned if someone had to take over as Kang.
What an epic collapse of a career that was skyrocketing. SMH.

Now the prestige movie review you’ve all been waiting for. Took my son to see the Super Mario Bros movie. I can confirm that it is in fact a film. Not much more to add, it was as bland of nostalgia as they could possibly create. Jack Black as Bowser about the only memorable thing. I didn’t expect much, but just have the Lego movie folks write it Nintendo, stop being so scared of your IP being hurt.

Love it. The @wbcbus ‘No Bullsh*t’ movie review!

‘I can confirm that it is in fact a film,’ states BWI’s wbcbus!

This is getting weird, I do find it somewhat odd that there don't seem to be a lot of people rushing or even walking to his defense, like Spike, Idris, Delroy Lindo, Jordan or really any of his co-stars.

Watched creed 3 and john wick 4.

👍
Saw John Wick 4 last week. I hope this really puts the final nail in the coffin of this series if this is where it was headed. Other than the homage to "The Warriors," it was pretty much unwatchable. I liked the previous three, but this one was absurd. Apparently Kevlar suits not only stop bullets, but they also absorb all shock from the bullets' impact.

I was thinking what the impossible Job was that let him retire. Wick 1-4 he killed like 500 people. Guess it was personal so he rose to another level. 🤣

Ant-Man Quantumania dropped on Disney+ the other day.
Watched it last night and well yea I watched it last night. That's about it.
I'm a fan of the first 2 and they maybe my favorites in the Marvel series but this one just didn't do it for me.
Didn't have any of the lightheartedness of the first 2 and was definitely missing some characters, especially his security crew.
