I wonder if the non-govt aerospace companies who supposedly possess materials have an out with this legislation because the requirement to reveal info within 180 days says "person" without including something like "corporate entity".
I've read elsewhere that AARO was still in the process of hiring staff and seeking more funding. It does seem like it's taking awhile. Would also like to hear specifics on the types of sensors that are being developed specifically for this purpose.Saw this seemingly insignificant article and initially thought meeting bingo when the govt official said ‘purpose-built’ in a sentence. My second thought: we are just ramping up now?

I get that sensors are typically optimized for certain applications.
